Photo Essay

Day 1
I took a picture of this mountain and realized that i might not get a good look at this mountain as I have now, so I took a picture of this place and i figured it did look good. Now whenever I look at this picture I will remember the day we photo essayed at GLPS. 





Day 2 

I took this photo when I was at the computer lab on the second day of photo essay. I don't know why I took this picture. I just took it because I wanted to see what the person next to me wrote on his blog. I bet when I see this photo I will think the day at GLPS I tried to read someone's blog. 




Day 3

This is my third day of my photo essay project. I did my best on finding a good spot to take a photo to remind me about my time at GLPS. I don't know what made me look, but when I looked at this I knew this was a perfect spot. so I took a photo, and knew that I will remember the sights I saw at GLPS.



Day 4
                                        

This is my fourth day of my photo essay, and when I went out the door to go to advisory I found the perfect photo immeditaly. The trees and the bad weather was making a good scene for the day. I know that I'll remember the day when the bad weather and the trees made a good background.






Day 5

I know this might not look interesting, But I think that I just took this out of boredom. I just wanted to show you how my teacher looks like behind and tell you through this picture how boring my class could be during break time. Believe me, being here is like being in a boarding school for one month. 
















                                  

My story of 3 endings

This is a story I have made with 3 endings. Enjoy!

Prolouge

Long ago 3 powers created the world. Order was a power to create, organize, and keep things right. Chaos was a power to destroy, ruin, and tear things down from being normal. Balance was a power to keep peace, make everything even and hold things together. The three powers lived in harmony and balance kept the two from fighting, then everything changed when the Chaos disrupted the peace. Only the Arch mage, the defender, the chosen one of balance could stop them, but when the world needed them most he and balance vanished. The fight of Chaos and order continued for over 4000 years, as they tried to fight for control.

Part one: The chosen one

"Are we there yet?" Delia grumbled, "Kenneth, we've been going for 4 hours past the boundary line of city of Pendragon ""Don't worry so much Delia, we're only going to a place to start my journey, where my ancestors and my line went to do something." Delia fumed but followed along, she was a teenage girl that preferred to stay indoors. When Delia's mother had heard that her friend Kenneth (the hot shot boy at school) had asked her out to somewhere her mother thought it would be a good chance for Delia to do something new." Is there any reason that I should go?" she had asked. " Now now  Delia, if you don't do I will cancel the WiFi, and destroy the computer if you don't go, understand?" that had shut her up and walking through the endless dessert where the chaos army had turned it to a sea of sands.

  After what seemed like an eternity they reached a temple as tall as a castle and seemed to be really old. Kenneth walked inside and seemed to walk in a trance. Kenneth didn't seem to remember where he was walking, but he remembered saying to Delia "stay here, I'll be right back." He wasn't sure but he couldn't seem to control his mouth. He walked through the hall of his ancestors though he wasn't sure how he knew, and at the end he saw a reflection of himself. he had even hair blue eyes and a slightly ripped body that he had worked during martial arts class. Suddenly the image changed and was in another place, facing a person taller than he was. "welcome, you have finally arrived to the chamber of balance." where are we?" " you are at the place where all your ancestors came to find their powers and fight to keep peace between order and chaos, and restore balance into the world." Before he knew images flashed in his mind, strength coursed through his veins and knowledge he needed to know flashed through his mind. he came out and told Delia what had happened. "So your the great great grandson of the Arch mage and it's your job to stop the order and chaos to fight, while they have been battling for thousands of years? Good luck, I'm going home." "Delia for now I need you to come with me, I need help from a person like you who can persuade a lot of people." Delia sighed." Guess I won't be home for dinner."

 Part 2: The Travel and Fight

Delia was tired of being chased by chaos soldiers, falling into traps, and stealing food from the camps of order. Right after they left the temple, Kenneth produced 2 swords and armours to change into. Kenneth's sword was called the the wrath of balance, probably because the sword was cold looking and looked like a katana made from japan. Her sword was called luminous, because her sword was blinding. the armour fir her perfectly and her clothes also matched in it. Kenneth was looking like a knight and looked good on him. They were heading into the the temple of balance to summon balance into the world and stop order and chaos from destroying each other. Delia didn't want to go to the Temple of Balance, because you had to go through the jungle of blood, the jungle of blood was a place where wars and the dead came back to life. Kenneth told her that only suffering, bravery, courage, and peace could bring back balance, but he still wouldn't tell her how she came into the solution. right now they were almost to the end and she was glad that she fighting zombies was finally going to pay off. After what seemed like eternity, they finally reached a blinding temple of what seemed to be made of diamonds. they reached the door and Kenneth said"ladies first."" Haha  very funny Kenneth." and went into the door as Kenneth followed.

Wizard of Oz Review

Hey this a another blog  from the Dark Chieftain, as you know i'm stuck in a camp called G.L.P.S. This camp contains strict rules, but now is not the time for that. During the second week of the camp we watched a movie called "Wizard of Oz". The genre of this book is fantasy and the characters are Dorothy, Good witch, Bad witch, scarecrow, Tin man, Lion, Wizard of Oz, Munchkins, and the megalomaniac dog Toto.

 During the beginning a tornado sucked Dorothy and the crazy dog Toto into the colorful world of Munchkin land that has made the main character feel sad, wonderful, and etc. She travels to find the great wizard of Oz with her four companions Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, crazy Toto, and the feeble Scarecrow. In the end Dorothy gets saved by her companions and her crazy dog Toto. At the end Dorothy finds out it was all a dream and is actually inside her house and still in Kansas.

They taught a few things inside the movie. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend this movie because A: it's for kids. B: you can obviously see that the "land" is painted on the wall. C: the movie patterns are so predictable. D: there were 2 ways for the character to go back to home without doing all those things.

 All I'm saying is that the movie is bad for me and kids my age. So if you want to watch this movie, go ahead. Just don't come replying back to me and comment I was right.

My Goals to Achieve in 30 Days

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another post from THE DARK CHIEFTAIN. Now I'm going to tell you my 3 goals from the camp GLPS. Now I'm not the type who spends 24 hours studying my brain out. I'm the type who wants to be just let alone in my room reading books, studying for a few hours, then playing some games. So take a look my goals to achieve, while I'm stuck in this "lovable" camp.

My first goal for 30 days are to think up more ways to study. You might ask why; I picked this goal so I don't have to make me not just learn in one way, but in other different ways that I can understand. My step one for my goal was to spend 30 minutes in self study time thinking up more ways. The second step is to discuss my thought up ideas with the teacher, see how well it will turn out.

My second goal is not to get a P.A to get on his bad side with me. You wonder why, will this P.A guy get me detention, or get me suspended? No, he'll give me yellow or red cards and get me kicked out of this camp. My first step is not to break any rules or regulations. my second step is, not to disrespect the teacher or P.A.

My third goal is to not to be kicked out before the camp because when I return home after getting kicked out, I will have to be ashamed for disappointing my parents. My first step is not to get 10 yellow cards. My second step is not to get 5 red cards. Now this is the end of my goals, and I hope to achieve them as soon as the camp ends. Good bye! 

My Introduction

Hi, My name is Alex Kim. I'm 13 years old in Korean, and I live in Shenzhen, China. People who don't know me assume that I'm a cold guy and mysterious, but I'm actually a good guy and I'm nice SOMETIMES. The reason I am nice is I either did something wrong or I feel like it or some one did me a favor. I can still be terrifying when I'm mad, in a bad mood, or I feel like I want to be left alone. I mutter when I say something negative, and sometimes I make a mistake when I speak. I started studying English when I was 7 years old. I learned a lot during my 6 years, but i still got a lot to learn. Also, I don't think that just because I studied English for 6 years, that i'm not going to make any mistakes, because everyone can make a mistake.
